Day 1:
Depart your hotel or lodging after breakfast and we
head for Entebbe to the Ngamba Island landing site. Take a 45 minute boat
ride across Lake Victoria, the second largest lake in the world and
reach Ngamba Chimpanzee Island where you check in at Ngamba Island Tented Camp-
self contained tents with decks that give you a fantastic view of Lake Victoria,
fishermen on the lake and even a glimpse of the nearby chimpanzees.
The company running the tented camp certainly has the
experience in doing an up-market and quality job since they also run the
exclusive Ishasha Wilderness Tented Camp and the quality standard up-market
Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Orientation regarding Chimpanzees in particular the
chimpanzees on Ngamba Island, health requirement and the background to the
Island. For Forest Walks which is a time of interaction and Infant
Integration there are certain health and vaccination requirements for the
protection of the chimpanzees. The Chimpanzees have also been immunized
and checked for HIV and for TB.

Morning Feeding where you walk above the Chimpanzees on a
raised walkway and can take great pictures down.
Lunch at the tempted camp - full board - except drinks
such as sodas, beer and the like.
Afternoon there is the option of the forest walk and or
infant integration - prices for those activities 400 usd a person and or 350 usd
a person...age minimum is 18 and maximum 65 years old. Please note that
the before mentioned activities are optional and it does not limit from seeing
the chimpanzees from the walkways twice a day.
Dinner and sunset over Lake Victoria - take a look at the
bats as it gets dark.
Day 2: Breakfast overlooking Lake
Victoria
View the chimpanzees or do one of the activities there is
also the activity of being a caregiver - feeding and working with the
chimpanzees which involves being with them and again the healthy requirement.

Lunch and after lunch in the afternoon return to the
mainland landing site by speed boat where you are met by our driver guide and
taken back to your lodging in Kampala.
