Nkuringo Gorilla Group: Is one of the larger Gorilla groups in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest-their Leader and guiding Silverback was Nkuringo, but he died and the silverback Safari took his place. The tracking experience here is quite exhilarating and one must be in reasonable Shape. Nkuringo Group as 19 family member there is the one dominant silverback and 3 others. You will also find - rare gorilla twins here and by now they are toddler.

The group is generally healthy with some injuries at times from skirmished.
