Day One: Depart your lodging in Kampala at 6:30 am for your private Lake Mburo 2 day luxury mini safari.

Drive through Ugandan towns and villages enjoying the colorful scenery accentuated with hues of green which makes this the evergreen country of Africa.  Bottled water provided for you - our driver answering any questions you might have.

Arrive at 10 am at Lake Mburo and you are about to begin your game drive with a wildlife and bird expert on board to show you some of the hidden activities that you might otherwise miss.  The rolling savannah with its hills and slopes, antelopes, buffaloes, zebras and much more - you are in the African wilderness and this is your personal experience of Africa's Wildlife in Uganda.

Check into your luxury Tented Camp at Mihingo Safari Lodge. (Rated 5 Star in Trip Advisor) You will be greeted by the friendliest of staff. You will also be surprised by the luxurious decor and style of your lodging.  A private veranda from which to survey your savannah surroundings in the park with its different sounds and sights and of course freshness of air.

Lunch will be another most pleasant surprise for you-attention given to every detail - food that delights the senses, superb and gracious service and your surroundings, simply make this an awesome experience.

Take a dip into the crystal clear pool and be refreshed as you take a swim, try off in the equatorial sun - the elevation of Uganda and of the park, even though located just near the equator, makes it simply pleasant, holiday like.

Afternoon Lake Mburo Boat ride - a pleasant ride on the lake, hippos, crocodiles, various otters, birds overhead and in the bushes, a nice touch on a lovely afternoon at Lake Mburo Park.  Private boat ride for just you can readily be arranged.

Enjoy a cold drink back at the lodge - a dip into the pool - relax on your veranda or sit in the sundowner area of the lodge enjoying the sun and sunset of course will be glorious.  Watch animals at the nearby saltlick - a most pleasant day.

Dinner at Mihingo Lodge is a real treat- any dietary preferences or needs will be taken into consideration and you will enjoy your second feast above the savannah.

Enjoy the night sounds from your deck or room, quite different from your street or cul-de-sac back home in the west.

Day 2:  Morning is breaking...coffee or tea brought at your request.  Enjoy the sunrise-a pleasant breakfast and afterwards a real treat.

Horseback riding safari through Lake Mburo - one, two or three hours in length.  There are not many places in Uganda where you can ride through the African Bush and meet Zebras, Antelopes, Buffaloes at close range from the back of a horse.

If horseback riding is not your forte you can always take a guided walk near the lodge or within the park.  Afterwards take a shower and rinse of the savannah dust - have lunch in the Wilderness and back to Kampala or onward to the airport at Entebbe.

Depending on your schedule we will stop at the equator for picture taking and you can buy some local crafts and then later at the Buganda Royal Drum Makers.

Arrive in Kampala in late afternoon.

For Entebbe Airport drop off - we continue straight to Entebbe and have a tasty dinner along Lake Victoria with a sandy beach, palm trees, wood fired oven and one of their specialties in whole grilled tilapia. 

Sad to say goodbye after such a lovely two days in Luxury in the Ugandan Wild.
