Day One: Leave
Kampala 6:30am for your exciting Kibale Forest National Park
Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Safari.
It is a beautiful drive through the Ugandan countryside as
we move on toward Kibale Forest National Park in Uganda. The
scenery is worth the drive in getting here.

rainforest and you can observe animals from your veranda or
your tree house in some cases such as Chimps' Nest.
Afternoon - Bigodi
Swamp guided Forest Walk- You will need good
walking shoes since part of the walk will be quite muddy.
The Bigodi swamp is many primates such as red colobus
monkey, black and white colobus monkey, grey cheeked,
mangabey, red tailed monkey, L'Hoest monkey, vervet monkey,
blue monkey and baboon. Mammals such as Sitatunga antelopes,
bush pigs, bush bucks, otters, mongooses and chimpanzees are
often seen here.
Birds - Many quality
bird species have been found here including the great blue
turaco. You
will find Wild palms, Polita Figs
and papyrus here giving a beautiful backdrop to this
sanctuary of nature.
Dinner at Lodge of
your choice
Nocturnal Forest Walk
with spotlights in the Jungle finding pottos and bush babies
amongst other nocturnal creature.
Day Two:
Breakfast in the Jungle, Enjoy it and get ready for a walk
in Kibale Forest National Park. It is chimpanzee
tracking (trekking) in the Kibale Forest Jungle Rainforest.
Besides the Chimpanzees there is simply the fabulous
rainforest, the other primates, the trees, the flowers, the
abundance of birds, the sounds of the Rain Forest,
butterflies floating through the air, the place to be, and
then there are the chimpanzees grabbing your attention, and
you are glad you came to Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee
Tracking.
