Imperial Beach Beach Resort Hotel (Up-Market Luxury): Located on a one kilometer stretch of Beach on Lake Victoria, this 5 star hotel is with its varied choices of rooms is the perfect location to stay in as you arrive in Uganda and spend your first or last night in style. There are a variety of restaurants in the hotel including Chinese, Indian and others, some overlooking Lake Victoria. Sit outside, enjoy the palm trees, a breeze from the lake and a look out on the Lake. Every amenity from health club to swimming pool, business center, Internet access is available at the hotel.

Gately Inn (Up-Market Luxury -Reasonable): A favorite place for many, comprised of 6 cottages and 3 rooms inside of the house. It is a lovely place to spend first or last night in Uganda. Thai and Continental Cusine and comfortable setting to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can request Breakfast only, half board or full board. There is also a quality craft shop on the premises for you to buy some quality Ugandan gifts to take home.

Boma's Guesthouse (Moderate): It is located in a Colonial Style English homestead and consists of 9 tastefully decorated room, 5 minutes from the airport so it is the perfect place to stay coming to or leaving Uganda. There is a restaurants on the facility with tasty dishes that will please most any palate.

It is a favorite amongst ex-pats coming or leaving the country.

Airport Guest House (Lower Moderate): Eight rooms that are self contained. Clean, African Decor, it is a relatively new guest house that will meet the need as you come or leave the country. Nice, manicured grounds, the guest house catering to travelers.

Anderita Hotel (Moderate): Located on the beach of Lake Victoria, with a lovely beachside restaurant where you can get a great pizza, tilapia, African and International Dishes, including Indian ones, all the while you are sitting underneath the palm trees, a sandy beach in front of you, Islands in the distance.

The Anderita Hotel is moderately priced, has choice of rooms, some of them facing the Lake with balconies and is a good value on Lake Victoria.

Camp Entebbe (Budget): Lowest priced cottages in the Entebbe area. You can also pitch a tent, the prices are most reasonable. It is near the airport and transport to or from Entebbe airport can be arranged. Prices are bed and breakfast.

Uganda Wildlife Education Center (Budget): Three self contained Banda's (cabins). You have a view of the Lake and of course the sounds of animals around you at night in the place that most Ugandans call the Zoo. There is a cafe nearby for meals overlooking Lake Victoria.
