The Daily Nation:  Kenyan National Newspaper.  Independent.  A very good source for information about Kenya and life there.

The East African:  This is one of my favorite newspapers in East Africa. It is a weekly newspaper and is independent of government.  It is published in Nairobi but sold all over East Africa and it reports on Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, but also Sudan, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo.
