Is within Bwindi Forest
and often guests can get the added bonus seeing Mountain Gorillas
right from their private veranda. Simply an enchanting
place to stay.
 Buhoma Lodge
(Up-Market - Luxury)$$$$:
This lodge has been consistent
in value and up-market comforts. The food is superb
and well prepared in a caring fashion, you are pampered in the
Ugandan rainforest of Bwindi. Even your packed lunch for Gorilla
Tracking is done nicely.
Gorilla Resort
(Up-Market Luxury)$$$$: Luxury in the Impenetrable Bwindi
Forest. Cottages and furnished en-suite African luxury tents
provided for you, attractive furnishings all overlooking the
Bwindi Forest. Comfort and Luxury in the Bwindi

newer up-market lodging in the Buhoma area of Bwindi - receiving raves by those
that stay here - Lovely Lodge, carefully crafted with the visitor in mind.
It certainly is a viable option in the luxury lodging in the Buhoma area of
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
 Engagi Lodge (Up-Market)$$$:
A Bwindi facility
that is definitely
classy and in a setting that is simply superb. It was designed
with nature and harmony in mind, bringing you closer to this magnificent
area as you come here to go Mountain Gorilla tracking, birding,
nature and village walks
 Silverback Lodge
(Up-Market)$$$:
This lodge
was constructed
by GeoLodges known for their thoughtful and harmonious, eco-friendly
Lodges in various places in Uganda. Most things made from local material
that will astound you.
Lake Kitandara Tented Camp
(Moderate)$$$:
Established
in 1994 with thousands of satisfied
guests over those years. There are 20 nicely furnished tents.
The bathrooms have hot and cold water. 24 hour solar power.
Nice verandas overlooking the forest where you can at times observe
Mountain Gorillas nearby.
 Buhoma Community Rest Camp
(Budget)$-$$: Bandas
self contained (cabins) and self
contained tents,
basic furnishings, African and International Food is prepared.

the community and that certainly is a good
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Accommodations - Ruhija Area:
This sector is a couple of hour drive from the
Buhoma area of the park.
Cuckooland Lodge (Moderate $$): Opening
date March 2011 4 en-suite Tent Facility is located near Ruhija but also you can
access the Buhoma area for Gorilla Tracking. One of the primary selling
points of this lodge, is intimacy, quietness in the Rainforest of Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest.
Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge (Up-Market)$$$:
This new facility was recently completed to provide lodging to visitors who are
gorilla tracking in Ruhija area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Accommodations - Rushaga Sector:
Rushaga is home to the largest habituated Mountain Gorilla group in the world -
the Nshongi and Miyasha Gorilla Groups- Rushaga is located in the South of
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Safari Lodge $$$: New
facility in the Rushaga region of southern Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Love cottages - including family units - great food and great service. The

Nshongi Camp Budget $:

the Rushaga area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Rustic-no electricity or
running water- budget facility right in the forest near the local community.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Accommodations - Nkuringo Sector:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest may not be the largest in size but certainly this
sector is quite a distance from Buhoma.

You have heard it
said-location-location. This location is simply beautiful. There is
no running water, it is carried to you, there is no electricity but there beauty
and comfort in the midst of that from basic budget to moderate.
Wagtail Eco Safari Camp (Budget to Moderate $-S$:
Delightful location - eco
friendly-locally organic vegetables and fruit, locally produced furniture -
great choice for those gorilla tracking in the southern area of Bwindi.
 Clouds
Mountain Gorilla Lodge (up-market)$$$$$:
You cannot get further away from it all and yet
be in total comfort. Not many places such as this anywhere in the world.
Lovely award winning lodging facility - simply one of the best, but you will
need gorilla permits in the Nkuringo Sector of the park. Only 8 rooms done
in beautiful - natural stone fashion, overlooking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Buhoma Village Walk:
A three hour walk through the local community -
meeting people and observing their traditional ways. Meet a traditional
healer - local beer brewing with bananas and gin distiller, cooking, washing
