Bush Lodge Tented Camp at Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda - Mweya area - is located just outside of the National Park.  Centrally located overlooking Kazinga Channel - which is a natural body of water connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Wildlife abounds and you can see lots of it just from the convenience of your porch.

Safe, Secure, comfortable and reasonably priced for a Tented Camp in Queen Elizabeth Park it provides the perfect setting for the discerning traveler who wants closeness with nature and not being surrounded by other tourist.

Each Tented Unit is self-contained and even has the novelty of dual shower heads for its guests.  You can take a shower underneath the stars in the Wild-something quite different.

The food is good, and prepared on site by able staff - the service is friendly and accommodating and you are provided for in a capable fashion.

You are a short distance from various places of interest in the park such as Kyambura Gorge and its Chimpanzee tracking, the game tracks, and Mweya for the Kazinga Channel Boat Ride in the afternoon.

One can stay here several nights because of affordability and comfort - since there are only 6 Tents for guests - the question always is -availability.  We include this lodge in several of our safaris as a suggested place to stay such as our 4 day Queen Elizabeth Park Tented Safari which takes in the Mweya and Ishasha areas of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

It provides a Tented camp in the African Wilderness at a moderate price - full board.

• Fantastic safari experience in QENP -- perfect for independent travelers. The reasonable price, amazing location, excellent service, and imaginatively designed rooms make it a great option for a safari at QENP. Add in the warm outside shower and the constant soundtrack of hippos, warthogs, and elephants (who often wander into the camp) and you start thinking of this place in the "unmissable" category. Not suitable for people who want a hotel. This is an outdoors place -- albeit a very comfortable one -- so if you want a hotel atmosphere, go to the Mweya safari lodge. Or better still, go to Paris.
• Bush lodge found in Queen Elizabeth national park is a simple and charming eco lodge. With simple furnished Tents and a dining tent in a lovely location on the Kazinga channel this place is a gem. The staff and food are impeccable. Not for someone looking for the luxury experience but this is a top of the range budget lodge and camp site.
