African Sunrise

Africa awakes.

  It is early morning.  I have been up for an hour, a cup of coffee in my hand silently sitting there watching another African dawn over a lake.  Though I have seen it many times, it never seizes to amaze me.  The stillness surrounds me, the awe and wonder of it all is within me.
