Day One:  It is an early departure from your hotel in Kampala and we move for our first Game Park at Lake Mburo.  Lake Mburo is one of the smaller Game Parks, but nevertheless it is one of the loveliest ones.  Five Lakes grace its borders with a lot of birdlife to be viewed, besides there are Zebras and many other mammals that can be seen as you go on your game drive or cruise around the lake.

We reach Lake Mburo National Park in time for lunch and check-in at one of the fantastic tented-camps or you can choose to stay in a budget facility on the lake.  If you are staying at one of the tented camps, your lunch will be fantastic and the view simply lovely.

You will be in the heart of Africa, in the midst of a wilderness, having a lunch that far exceeds your expectations.  After lunch you will be going for your boat ride around the lake.  Hippos, crocodiles, birds of all kinds, butterflies, buffaloes coming for water, zebras on the shore and many kinds of antelopes.Kabiza Wilderness Safaris

After you return from your boat ride on the lake we will have some refreshments and then off the evening game drive through savannas that are dotted with beautiful acacia trees, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, an occasional leopard and of course many birds as you slowly move along not missing anything.

That evening it is dinner time at your up-market tented camp with great views or at your budget facility where you can see the lake from.  Rest and a good night's sleep.

Day Two: An early morning breakfast - check-out and off we go in the direction of the most diverse Park in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth where we will be staying in the Mweya Peninsula area for the upscale Mweya Lodge or the hostel for the budget facility.  We enjoy lunch and a pleasant break before one of the highlights of our stay at Queen Elizabeth Park in Uganda, the Kazinga Channel connecting Lake George and Lake Edward, with more hippos than any other location in Africa.  We take a pleasant launch trip for the next few hours, birds lining the shores, elephants coming to water, buffaloes, welcome to the Pearl of Africa...Uganda.

We return to the lodging and rest for the evening and have a tasteful dinner.  As you eat, look around, you will see some more animals, enjoy your stay.

Day Three:  It is breakfast just as dawn breaks and then we go off for a three hour game drive, that you will not forget for some time.  You can see  lions, elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, birds, and a scenery that is fantastic.

As the game drive comes to an end we go off for lunch at the lodging facility.  Enjoy an afternoon of rest and head out for the second time that day.  We will see some of the animals we have seen in the morning but also different kinds, different landscape such as volcanic lakes that are found there all in shadows the of the Rwenzori Mountains.  You will find it absolutely fabulous and will be happy you have chosen this safari.

Then it is dinner time and evening relaxation and sleep.  As you fall to sleep you will hear the sounds of animals from nearby as their cries break the still of the night.

Day Four:  Our last breakfast at Queen Elizabeth National Park and our journey for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest begins.  We might even see  the famous tree climbing lions along the way from the road.

It is Lunch time at Bwindi where you have a choice of budget, moderate or up-market facility.  We check-in and enjoy lunch and a time of rest before heading out.  Of course all meals are included in the price with exception of drinks at lodging facilities.  We are here for the rare Ugandan Mountain Gorillas but that will have to wait for tomorrow.  This afternoon we visit a local village and take a village walk where we can observe the ways of old as food, herbal medicines and traditional brews are prepared.  It is always a most wonderful visit topped off with a dance performance.

Back to the lodging facility for dinner and rest preparing for the next day with the gorillas.

Day Five:  A hearty breakfast at your accommodation and then we go and check in at the park and are assigned a group and guide for the day. The gorilla tracking (trekking) can last for a few hours or all days.  You will need a backpack and your lunch will be in it...at times, depending on terrain we use a porter to assist you and the guide will know where to take you to see the gorillas.  You are going to come within a very close distance with the gorillas and get some great views and pictures.  Probably one of the most fascinating days of your life.

Afterwards we go back to the lodging for rest and dinner and I am sure you will do a lot of talking with others with whom you have shared this day.

Day Six:  Breakfast and check-out and we move onward to Kibale Forest famous for its chimpanzees.  We will have lunch at your budget, moderate or up-scale lodging and check into room Lunch-time and rest. If you are in tented cam, the furnishings will be simply classy, the setting beautiful, the food fantastic.

As the evening darkness arrives we will take off for a nocturnal game walk at Kibale forest.  There will be spotlights on hand to view animals, such as monkeys in their nocturnal setting.  You will also see lots of night birds.  This is a rather unique walk anywhere in the world, but here in Uganda with its unique night sounds, smells of the forest and viewing of the animals accompanied by a Ugandan Wildlife Authority Ranger.

After sunset we set off for a nocturnal walk at Kibale and with spotlights view the nocturnal animals, birds, monkeys.  A different kind of trip for you.

Dinner at your lodging and rest for the night.

Day Seven: It is morning and a time to get ready for your Chimpanzee tracking (trekking) experience at Kibale Forest.  We drive to the park headquarters and are assigned a guide to take us into the forest where the chimps can be found.  Not only can you see the chimpanzees in their natural setting, but also other mammals and birds besides the fauna, flora and multitude of butterflies.  You will come into close range of the chimpanzees and see them in their natural environment.

This is a very popular walk and you will find it most enjoyable and here there are also many butterflies to be seen, besides the elusive shoebill stork and  the situnga antelope.

We return to the lodging facility of your choice for dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day Eight:  An early Breakfast and check out and off driving toward Kampala with lunch along the way, arriving in the early evening hours there.
